Sailor Moon remake

So apparently someone decided to redo the Sailor Moon episodes and now a "modern" retake is airing. For the first time ever, I actually sat through an episode of Sailor Moon.

I alternated between hysteria and chills.

I get that I might be trying a little hard to catch up on lost teeny bopper years with this remake of an old phase like some sad middle aged man, but I'm not sure how long I'll actually manage to last. It's so girly and silly and I can hear, hear my inner snarky voice snarking as I watch. Why does she need nail polish when she transforms and ends up with elbow length gloves? Is that ultrasonic tantrum wail actually from the original manga? Is her voice actor seriously trying to purposely go with nasal through the entire season?

Tuxedo Mask should technically be falling straight to the ground with that very un-aerodynamic cape.

Oh look, it seems Pluto will still be a Sailor, even if the actual planet got demoted to dwarf planet. Then again, why is Moon the head of the motley crew of Sailor Planets?

So many questions, so little likelihood of being answered.
