FIFA is screwing me over

Or more specifically, my lovely, darling idiots in the outlets who do NOT know the meaning of checking that they have all their subscribed for channels are screwing me over.

Seriously.

I purposely subscribe for the FIFA channels in MARCH of this year to make sure my idiots have their channels. I go through the motions of having to deal with another company's darling idiots (read ASTRO) who don't understand how to adjust their systems or read emails and thus cause me strife all the way up til May with improper billing and screwy channels. I end up going to one outlet with one of my most silly idiots on Thursday night to check that they have FIFA. They do. I get no complaints from my other idiots (and one who isn't an idiot). I assume all is well.

WRONG.

Let it be said that if you do NOT check with each individual IDIOT that such and such is available/working/in order, they will suddenly realise at a little past midnight on the very NIGHT that you decide to crash early to recuperate from a stressful week that they do NOT have their fucking channels. You will then spend more than an hour in the godforsaken hours of the morning trying to call all the outlets and checking if they have such and such channels and learning that they don't (and having to yell in between because idiots don't understand simple instructions unless given in a loud, frustrated voice at half the speed of normal conversations). You will call Astro Commercial and get a recorded message telling you they aren't available AFTER pressing their godforsaken number button options. You will end up calling the Commercial Department's manager on his mobile phone at half past midnight apologising for being a dick but reminding him that HE HANDLED THE SUBSCRIPTION HIMSELF and then getting told that it can only be dealt with later in the morning.

And you will end up scrolling through the godforsaken channels on your own Astro to find some channel that might be showing the game at some point, even if it's narrated in Malay because your darling idiots don't know how to do that on their own.

I shall now go back to thinking uncharitable thoughts on everyone involved because, quite frankly, I have been worked up into enough of a frustrated frenzy that I can no longer fall asleep. I imagine I shall have plenty of time in the godforsaken hours of the morning to think as much uncharitable thoughts as I wish.

This FIFA season cannot end soon enough.
