Was grocery shopping at Midvalley today and first went to Jusco (Aeon for the nitpickers). Groceries there were a little pricey but service was good. Although, I suspect the sushi chef changed again because the rice looked like mush. Urgh...
Went over to Carrefour (Aeon Big now since the buyer) and was shockedvat the disparity in service level, product quality and hygiene. I don't know if it's just the supervisor going on leave or something, but the workers didn't give a Damn. They were more interested in bagging garlic and vegetables for themselves that manning the weighing counters and there were flies everywhere. No proper plastic bags for the spices either.
Makes me wonder if Aeon is deliberately leaving their new acquisitionbto rot in some weird strategy to have it act as grocery wingman or something.
Also, people seem to have a tendency not tonotice potentially dangerous moving objects behind them - like trolley carts filled with things. Physics people. Mass and momentum hitting your admittedly padded behind will still result in PAIN. Be more aware of your surroundings, idiotic ladies and miscreant child, and don't just assume that stopping in the middle of the common walkway will not result in a metal cart smashing into you.
Bah.
