Went to Golden Gate Park today for a dog walk, hoping to wear the not-so-little Bani out a little. For a four year old plus dog, she's still got lots of energy.
Decided to take a round around the small lake that we normal bypass. Also, there were birds there. And Bani likes to chase birds.
We walked, she sniffed, we walked some more.
Just as we were making a full round back to the footpath, she decided to try a Jesus impression and realised that she isn't, in fact, capable of walking on water. It might have also had something to do with the leaved and feathers floating in a large bunch by the edge of the lake. At any rate, she went down.
With a splash, she went down.
I heard from her owner that she's done that before when she was younger and it was her upper half that got wet. Well, this time it was all of her. For some reason, she went in front legs first and continued on anyway.
I had to rinse her off in the backyard. Silly, funky Bani.
