Just finished reading Samurai deeper Kyo. Not as heartwarming as Hikawa Kyouko's From Far Away, but I have to admit, it was awesome. Leave it to storytellers to go the build-up-tension-climax-and-make-everything-make-sense-at-the-bloody-end route. It was nice though. Very human, but also very positive and optimistic. In a 'life sucks, deal with it' sort of way.

Of course, after finishing a manga I've been following for several years, something like a ceiling bulb had to blow out. And as per Murphy's Law, as I attempt to twist the thing out to change it, the entire glass part popped out. Leaving the base stuck inside still. All the damn way inside. Fuck much?

Lucky for me, Google came to the rescue. Type in "How to remove broken bulb" and poof! Instant eHow answers. The best part is that when I went upstairs to ask Frank for pliers and gloves, he came down to do it himself. Such a nice landlord! :D It took some twisting and breaking and turning but it came out. And now I have a new, brighter (100W replacement, energy saving) bulb! Bright....
