Happy 2010

The number of cone heads at home have increased within the past few days. First there was Koko with her skin problems, then there was Sesame with her SI tendencies, now there's Cristo with what we suspect are either flea eggs or the start of skin problems as well. Watching the three cone heads look at each other in confusion and mild misery is quite amusing in a macabre manner, I must admit. I couldn't help the laughter that poured from my mouth at the sight. However, I must profess to feeling guilty over their obvious misery and condition. This ain't exactly a walk in the park for any of us. Poor furry buggers. Hopefully, the number of cone heads will reduce by one by the end of the day. After all, technically, the Spot On we used on Cristo should be good to go by then.

The Dell desktop went bye bye again. The giant blue screen of doom came on, I restarted, it came on again on its own, I attempted to restart and do some diagnostics, it came on a third time at a faster rate. I figure, as long as I have a laptop that connects to the Internet, I'm good enough to go that I won't feel particularly vicious towards Dell. After all, I knew the deal I was getting buying from them (sucky quality but alright after sales service, although the whole "We ain't open on Saturday, cheers!" thing is quite annoying since even TMnet works on Saturday). I suspect it's the RAM since I got a message a few days back concerning it but didn't have the time to follow up on it. Either way, even if I have to shove off the entire hard disk, I should be good to go with my backups in place.

Maybe it's just time to upgrade to Windows 7 instead. Although... there've already been complaints about the new system. Joy.

This has been an eventful vacation thus far. Wonder what else will happen while I'm here.
