Random Updates

1. Got some high heels for cheap the other day and a pair of gaudy slippers. It was a negotiation between my mother and myself. As long as I get to wear slippers sometimes without her complaining, I'll let her choose the design. As for the high heels... I'm practising waddling in them. They're... interesting I guess. At least I like the black pair. And I still refuse to wear them when I have to drive.

2. I hate the pasar malam in SS2. It's really a nightmare to maneuver through. Yesterday, I was late for class and got stuck in a lane where people were double parked--on both f-ing sides of the road! I tried turning into a small lane but got stuck in some person's bush. In the end, I forced my way out and probably mangled it quite a bit. It was the first time I used my 4WD option.

3. My cat, Monte, is a rascal. And the worse offender in terms of disturbed sleep. My cat, Sesame has developed the unsightly, and wasteful, habit of pulling tissue from the tissue box, over and over and over and over again.

4. The grill door struck again. I was opening it this morning to get something from downstairs when she jumped and got her head stuck between the wall and the grill door. I got her out immediately, of course, but she's still spooked.

5. Koko is fat and fluffy and beginning to get lazy.

6. I'm watching a group of people eat some sort of cake and I want some. Just not the cheesecake they're eating. Maybe some Secret Recipe peach cake.

7. I need to find someone to come pig out at Deli-cious with me. Berrilicious Chocolate Pavlova!

8. I need sleep.

9. In terms of assignments, I'm doomed.

10. There are many stupid people in HELP. I've known this for a long time, of course. But somehow, it still amazes me as to the extent stupidity can reach.

11. I feel irritated at lots of things. No change there.

12. I want a Japanese lunch.

13. I suddenly feel more productive and useful than the graduate tutors I'm working with under the subject I'm tutoring. Maybe because I had to mark the quizzes? Who knows.

14. PAL is doomed to redundancy. At least, the office system is.

15. I feel like the end of the world is near. I guess it's a good time to hope I'm not psychic.

16. I learnt my first Chinese song yesterday. I feel... accomplished? Still not gonna sing it in front of native speakers though. I'd probably mangle it up enough to set of gales of laughter.
