At 1.51am in the morning, my sleep deprived brain is still working overtime on nonsensical things, such as how odd certain teas taste, how long I should cook the broccoli to be soft enough for me to chew without it being too mushy, and little one-liners to optimistic crap I don't agree with.
And, go figure, I'm struck by a strange urge to get out of my comfortable bed to write down these little thoughts on the back of my philosophy notes.
So, my cynical, increasingly atheistic and insomniac-like response(s) to the line:
If people believed in heaven and worked hard towards earning a place there...
the world would probably be a better place. Fact of life--it isn't.
If people believed they'll be reincarnated as long as they make it to heaven...
there'd be a whole lot less people being spawned.
That everyone has some inherent good within them...
Yeah, and pigs actually fly around on feathery, white wings.
That God exists...
Sorry, don't believe it.
That politicians have the country's best interests at heart...
Excuse me while I laugh myself to death.
That Snape, Hook and all other villains should die!!!
Congratulations, you just suggested the genocide of the entire human race.
That chocolate sucks and vanilla is the way to go...
Beyond help. Here's a short rope and a tall tree.
That women are weaker than men...
and babies are delivered by sadistic storks in a plot to bring about the downfall of humans.
Chivalry is dead...
Not yet, just dying.
