Dominus Deus

Dominus Deus, save me from the mundane happenings of life! Crazed parents... severe moodswings (not only on my part either) and uncertainties. Dominus, I can be embarrassingly naive at times. I loathe those times with a vengence and passion that would rival any cat craving cat nip.

"It matters not how straight the gate, how charged the punishments of the scroll. I am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soul."

Dominus, may I always be able to keep that in mind -- during the battles of the day, the horrors of man and in the face of an irritated cat (with sharpened claws). Salva nos, Deus.

The battle fields strewn with blood and gore, and spite of all kind. Intentions of people so severe and crazed, the lust filled would look like lambs, and the blood thirsty like innocents. May ye be merciful. Perhaps... a bit more sleep? And an absent teacher?

One can only pray.
